Terms of Service

Service Description

Nodkit is an API service for sending push notifications to mobile devices. The Service allows developers to send notifications to their own devices via a simple API call, and view those notifications within the Nodkit app.

Account Terms

• You must sign in using Apple Sign-In to create an account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is not permitted.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API key. Do not share your API key with others.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and API key.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Subscription Terms

Nodkit offers two tiers:

• Free tier — 100 notifications per month. Notifications beyond the monthly limit are still delivered as push notifications, but their content is hidden in the app inbox.
• Pro tier ($2.99/month) — Unlimited notifications with full content visibility, processed via Apple In-App Purchase.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings in the App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send spam or unsolicited notifications.
• Distribute illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
• Abuse or overload the API beyond reasonable use.
• Share your API key with third parties or use another user's API key.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage limits, or security measures.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

API Usage

• Rate limits apply to all API endpoints. Current limits are documented in the API documentation.
• We may adjust rate limits at any time. Significant changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.
• The API is provided on an “as-is” basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted service.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nodkit and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before significant changes take effect, either by posting on this page or notifying you through the Service. Your continued use of Nodkit after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
